UGH! There’s always that one jerk ravioli that won’t come out when I shake the can. Then I’m stuck standing there hitting the can like a confused ape, but having to do it softly so as not to spatter tomato sauce everywhere.
What’s that? It’s not really that big of a deal to grab the fork I’m going to use to eat it with to get it out of there?
Yes it is!!!
Then I have to find somewhere to set the fork while the food is in the microwave, and it turns into a no-win situation. I can either toss it back in the can, but then the fork leans into the sauce toward the top of the can, and then when I pick it back up to eat with it I get it all over my fingers, or I set it on the counter, but then after I eat I have to spritz the counter and wipe it off, or I set it on my napkin…but let’s be honest, here. I was just going to use my sleeve if I was suddenly incapable of eating ravioli without smearing it across my cheeks. I’ve tried just standing there and holding it, but no matter how little food I got on it, it drips, so I have to, in a panic, choose whether to have to wash my hands or spritz the floor and wish I’d just used the counter.
Every. Single. Time. *That one ravioli.
